Three Generations of Master Craftsmanship
In 1952, Walter Brennan Sr. opened Heritage Electric Co. in a small shop on Bull Street in Savannah, Georgia. A Navy electrician who served in the Pacific, Walter believed that electrical work was a craft deserving of the same respect as fine woodworking or masonry.
His son, Walter Jr., expanded the business through the 1980s and '90s, building Heritage's reputation as the go-to electrical contractor for Savannah's historic homes and institutions. Under his leadership, Heritage became the first electrical company in Georgia to earn historic preservation certification.
Today, James Brennan leads Heritage Electric with the same principles his grandfather established: meticulous craftsmanship, honest pricing, and a handshake that means something. Our team of 22 master and journeyman electricians carries on a tradition that spans over seven decades.
